PRIVACY POLICY

Last updated: 2026-07-07. GoForge is built to collect as little as possible. There is no user account, no telemetry, and no analytics. This policy explains the only data that leaves your machine and who processes it.

1 · The short version

The Software makes exactly two kinds of outbound network request in normal operation: (1) license activation/validation/deactivation with our licensing provider, and (2) a check against the update feed for new versions. It sends no device fingerprints, no usage analytics, and no game data. Diagnostics are local-only and are exported to a file only when you choose to.

2 · License validation

To activate, verify, and deactivate your license, the Software contacts the license service operated by Lemon Squeezy. These requests transmit your license key and a device instance identifier / name so the service can enforce the per-license device-activation limit. This is required for the Software to function as a licensed product; without it, activation cannot be verified. This data is processed by Lemon Squeezy under its own privacy policy (see Section 5).

3 · Software updates

The Software periodically requests an update feed to check for and download new versions. Like any HTTP request, the hosting/CDN layer (e.g. Cloudflare or GitHub) may record standard server logs such as your IP address, timestamp, and the file requested. GoForge does not use these requests for tracking, profiling, or advertising, and does not build a profile of you from them.

4 · Diagnostics

Any diagnostic information the Software gathers stays on your device. There is no automatic crash or telemetry upload. If you export diagnostics to share with support, that export is a local file that you control and choose whether to send.

5 · Payments & Lemon Squeezy

Purchases are sold and processed by Lemon Squeezy, acting as the Merchant of Record. When you buy, you provide your payment and billing details directly to Lemon Squeezy at checkout; GoForge does not receive or store your card or full payment details. Lemon Squeezy acts as our payment and license data processor, and its handling of your data at checkout and for license management is governed by its own privacy policy, available at lemonsqueezy.com/privacy.

If you join the launch notification list on this site, the email address you submit is stored by Lemon Squeezy as a subscriber on our store's email list and used only to send GoForge launch and product announcements. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe, and you can request removal at any time via [email protected].

6 · This website

This site is a static build served from a CDN/hosting provider. Standard server request logs may apply at the hosting layer. The site itself sets no tracking cookies and runs no analytics.

7 · Your rights

Because GoForge keeps no account and stores no personal profile on our side, there is little personal data for us to hold. For data associated with your purchase or license, or to exercise rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA, contact us at the address below; requests that concern payment or checkout data may be directed to Lemon Squeezy as the Merchant of Record and processor of that data.
